African Wax was established in 2003 to service the candle machine industry.
The original company, Eve's Industries, established in 1998, manufactured candle making machinery, from which candle making was a natural progression. African Wax has specialized in the manufacture of finest quality machine & hand made candles. The materials are carefully sourced from Europe, America, Asia & South Africa.
The waxes are blended to give the best burning time while the wick is matched to the specific diameter & oil content of each candle type. Each hand painted candle is unique and crafted to a set design and the dyes used are fade resistant. The warm vibrant colours are inspired by our rich and diverse cultural history. FEATURED PRODUCTS

100x250mm Hand engraved square The white or cream coloured candle is engraved with the bride and groom's name and their wedding date. It can be left plain, or even decorated by the bride to suit her wedding theme.

Unity Set Decorated Silver & White Unity Candles symbolize the coming together of two people. They are the visual symbol of the bride & groom’s commitment to each other. The bride and groom each take a flame from the side candle with their name on it, and together light the central candle which has both their names on it. The central candle can be plain and just have the two names printed on it, or it can have a special poem or verse printed on. A photograph of the couple with their names and wedding date is another option. The ribbon and beading is done to suit the wedding colours.
